Services
Keep in mind all packages are personalized and completely customizable. Any Training Plan may include a variation of services listed depending on the individual dog and owner team and what their progress, learning style, or schedule may need.

Private Lessons
One-on-one coaching, customized to your dog and your life.
Private lessons are hour-long, personalized training sessions designed around your dog’s goals, environment, and challenges. Sessions are typically scheduled weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly depending on your training timeline. We’ll work together on foundational obedience, behavior modification, and real-life skills — all while teaching you how to communicate clearly and confidently with your dog. Perfect for owners who want hands-on guidance and long-term results.

Board & Train
Intensive training with real-world structure.
In our Board & Train program, your dog stays in the trainer’s home and receives daily, structured training on agreed-upon goals. Dogs are fully integrated into a home environment, allowing us to work on obedience, leash manners, impulse control, and household behaviors in a realistic setting. This option is ideal for busy owners or dogs who benefit from consistency, structure, and repetition — with owner follow-ups included to ensure skills transfer back home.

Doggy Homeschool
Professional training, right in your home.
Doggy Homeschool offers the intensity of a board & train without removing your dog from their environment. Your dog stays at home while the trainer visits regularly — typically four or five days per week during the foundational phase. This is an excellent option for addressing household-specific behaviors, building strong foundations, and helping dogs generalize skills where they matter most. Owners stay involved while benefiting from professional consistency.

Day Training
A productive day that works your dog’s brain — and body.
Day Training allows your dog to spend the day at the trainer’s home for focused training sessions, enrichment, and structured downtime. This option is great as a refresher for existing clients, supplemental support between lessons, or simply a productive outlet if you’ll be away for the day. Your dog comes home mentally fulfilled, physically tired, and sharper in their skills.
Why do I need to schedule an In-Person Consultation?
An in-person consultation sets the foundation for everything we do together. It’s how we make sure your dog’s training plan is clear, fair, and built for real life — not a one-size-fits-all approach.
Here’s why it matters:
1. We meet you and your dog exactly where you’re starting.
Every dog and every owner team is different. The consultation lets us see your dog’s current skill level, your experience, and what daily life looks like for both of you. That way, we can build a plan that’s realistic, effective, and supportive — not overwhelming.
2. We get both sides of the story — yours and your dog’s.
Your perspective is incredibly important, but dogs communicate with body language, behavior, and patterns. Seeing your dog in person allows us to notice things that might get missed otherwise. Sometimes, without realizing it, we may accidentally reinforce behaviors we don’t want or trigger stress in our dogs.
For example:
An owner might say their dog runs and hides when it’s time for a walk. During a consultation, we may notice the dog is actually afraid of the retractable leash — not the walk itself. A simple gear change can completely resolve the issue. That’s the kind of clarity an in-person session provides.
3. We can set your dog up for success in your actual environment.
Your home layout, routine, and activity level all play a huge role in training. Whether your household is calm and quiet or busy and high-energy, the consultation helps us tailor the training plan so we’re working in manageable, bite-size steps — always from easy to hard, and always at your dog’s pace.
Bottom line: the in-person consultation allows us to be thoughtful, thorough, and intentional — giving your dog the best possible chance to succeed and helping you feel confident every step of the way.
Services for Established Clients
All Training Walk options are goal-driven, structured, and aligned with your dog’s overall training plan — not just exercise for the sake of movement.

Training Walk
More than a walk — it’s a lesson on the move.
Training Walks are private, trainer-led sessions built around your dog’s customized training plan. Whether you’re home or away, your dog receives focused, intentional work on loose leash walking, engagement, neutrality around distractions, and real-world obedience — all within your neighborhood or local walking environment.
This is an excellent add-on for busy owners or dogs who benefit from consistent, structured practice outside of formal lessons.

Training Outing
Real-world practice, real-life results.
Training Outings take your dog beyond the neighborhood and into more challenging environments such as parks, outdoor shopping areas, or other dog-friendly public spaces. These sessions are still private and fully customized, with a focus on neutrality, confidence, impulse control, and obedience around higher levels of distraction. Ideal for dogs who are ready to generalize their skills or need help navigating busy environments calmly.
These sessions are one hour of training with the dog plus drive time to and from the location site.

Training Hike
A training walk on steroids.
Training Hikes are designed for higher-energy dogs who need both mental and physical outlets. These longer, more demanding sessions combine structured obedience, engagement, and handler focus with increased distance, varied terrain, and environmental challenges. Think of it as purposeful exercise with rules — your dog comes home tired, fulfilled, and more responsive.
Training Hikes are a great option for dogs who struggle with excess energy, arousal, lack of follow-through during traditional walks, or for dogs practicing their off-leash reliability skills.
